About

Hello,
I’m Tasnim Dewan Orin

I am a tech maker, bibliophile, adventurer, and by profession, a software engineer.

Books have taught me valuable life lessons, such as logical thinking, effective communication, empathy, and self-acceptance. My mother used to say that books are your truest companions as they will never leave you. I embraced this concept at the age of four and have never been without a book since. I read books in both English and Bangla daily, and my goal is to one day open a bookshop in a treehouse on hilly terrain.

Allow me to share my journey to becoming a software engineer. My fascination with computers started when I was in second grade and had my first computer studies class. I was thrilled to be in a lab filled with the latest technology. I still vividly remember the feeling of excitement I had when I got my hands on the computer.

In fourth grade, I was given my own computer with a limited dial-up internet connection. I was amazed by the vast amount of information available on the World Wide Web.

I wrote my first line of code in QBasic during the 10th grade. I opted to study computer science in high school as a stepping stone toward my dream of becoming a software engineer.

For some, software engineering is just a profession, but for me, it is a source of pride and a part of my identity. It has been my lifelong dream, and I worked hard to make it a reality. Solving problems with the power of technology is something I thoroughly enjoy.

Despite my achievements, I have many more dreams to fulfill, and I am working towards accomplishing them. This website is a platform for me to share my perspectives and ideas as I navigate through life’s challenges.
